First & Main Shopping District To Giveaway $6,000 In Gift Cards During Ice Walk

January 23, 2009-Hudson, Ohio-First & Main Shopping District in Hudson announces the "Cold Cash" Giveaway set for Saturday, February 7, 2009 during First & Main’s Ice Walk. The first 550 customers to register at First & Main's Customer Care Kiosk (located between Chico’s and Talbot’s) on that day will receive a specially marked First & Main gift card valued at $10. There is a limit of one card per adult - 18 and over. The cards given away will be activated for use on February 12, 2009. Beginning February 12th shoppers can use their free First & Main gift card and will also be eligible for special sales and savings from participating restaurants and merchants.

In addition, shoppers will find special sales and savings for one day only on February 7th. WQAL will also be at First & Main from 10:00AM to Noon with various prizes and giveaways. Beginning February 2-6, WQAL listeners will also have a chance to win a $500 First & Main gift card by tuning into Q104.1 FM.

Enjoy looking at beautiful ice sculptures during First & Main’s Ice Walk. The ice sculptures, produced by Aaron Costic, the US Olympic Gold Medalist in Ice Sculpting, will be a wonderful bonus to your already enjoyable visit to charming downtown Hudson. See a magical ice carving demonstration by Vue Chef Rick Carson in front of Vue (weather permitting) starting at Noon. Many merchants within First & Main will have special sales and happenings to coincide with this unique event!

Guests can also be on the lookout for the “Gift Card Sculpture” beginning on Friday, February 6th. There will be First and Main Gift Cards encased in an ice sculpture. Guests are encouraged to enter at any of the participating stores to guess the number of cards in the sculpture. The winner will be chosen among the correct entries. The prize for this contest is a $100 First and Main Gift Card! Entries may be cast until 5:00 PM on Sunday, February 8th. The winner will be notified on Monday, February 9th.
