JAKE’S LIFE ROCKS TO ROLL INTO ROCKY RIVER
Rocky River, Ohio (September 25, 2008) – Rock and Roll. At least that’s what the owners of the new store, Jake’s Life Rocks, will be doing this October. Coming off the success of their first Genuine Neighborhood Shoppe in Hudson, owners Randy Baun and Patrick Randall are keeping the momentum rolling with the grand ope ning of their new location in Rocky River.
Located in Beachcliff Market Square, Jake’s Life Rocks will hold a grand opening celebration October 18th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Festivities include classic rock spun by a local DJ, a live steel drum band from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., face painting, balloon artists, prizes and giveaways including an autographed t-shirt from Cleveland Brown’s player Derek Anderson. Refreshments will be served throughout the day and the merriment will heat up after dark with a fire juggler on site.
Jake’s Life Rock’s will feature the latest Life is good clothing line, “Good Vibes,” the trademark Life is good product line for all ages as well as pet merchandise and home accessories. A percentage of proceeds from sales on October 18th will go to the Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund, which will be distributed to Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital.
Based off the theory, “Do what you like. Like what you do. Optimism can take you anywhere.”, Jake’s owners, Randy Baun and Patrick Randall, relocated from Pittsburgh to Hudson where they opened the first Ohio store and have made their mark in the community.
“We’ve had great success with our Jake’s location in Hudson and we’d like to continue to spread our message of hope and optimism throughout Northeast Ohio. Opening a second location in Rocky River will allow us to continue on our path and we look forward to joining the community” said owner, Randy Baun.

Jake’s Good Life is located at 16 Clinton Street, just west of Main Street in downtown Hudson and is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
