First & Main Celebrates Third Anniversary in Style
HUDSON, OH (Sept. 6, 2007) – First & Main, located in historic downtown Hudson, will celebrate its third anniversary with a weeklong anniversary celebration, Saturday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 7.
“We’re so grateful to be part of this outstanding community and to have so much support from residents – we want to give back with a fun and memorable event,” said Regan Gettens, project manager of First & Main. He said the week-long event will include the following:
Wine & Dine Stroll, Saturday, September 29 from 7-10 p.m. The purchase of a $15 ticket entitles you to three free appetizers at participating restaurants in First & Main and on historic Main Street.
Participating restaurants will also feature wine specials. The Western Reserve Community Band will perform at 6:30 p.m. that evening on the Green at First & Main.
Champagne Brunch and Style Show. Sunday, Sept. 30, hosted by Vue Restaurant and Lounge. During brunch, local residents will model the latest fall fashions and accessories from In Style Accessories, the Shoe Gallery of Hudson, Jos. A. Banks, Talbot’s and other retailers.
Gift with Purchase. On Thursday, October 4, receive a $10 First & Main gift card for every $100 spent at First & Main.
Birthday Party with Free Cake from Heinen’s. Saturday, October 6 from 4 – 6 p.m. Join us on the Green for live music and a slice of birthday cake!
The Chalk Walk. Returning to First & Main on Sunday, October 7, from Noon - 2 p.m. All kids get a bag of prizes and free chalk to decorate squares along the sidewalks inside First & Main and on Historic Main Street. Prizes – including First & Main gift certificates – will be awarded in several age categories. Register the day of the event.
Nicky Nicole Webkinz Parade. Also on Sunday, October 7, from 2 – 3 p.m. Kids decorate your best “float” (wagons, bikes, etc.) to proudly parade your Webkinz toys. Register in advance at Nicky Nicole. Prizes will be awarded to the best floats in many categories.
