“We are looking forward to the Relay for Life running into Hudson,” said Regan Gettens of First & Main. “We hope to make a remarkable donation for the cure as well as help celebrate the lives of those we have lost from this disease. The merchants are excited to support the cause and 100 percent of the money raised will be donated to aide the American Cancer Society.”
According to Gettens, First & Main has committed to a minimum donation of at least $2,500.
Relay for Life began in 1985 with Dr. Gordy Klatt. The event raced on all over the United States and in 2005 hit 20 countries around the World. Last year over $178 million was raised to help find a cure.
