THIRD ANNUAL HUDSON WINE FESTIVAL PLANNED FOR JULY
Hudson, Ohio (March 25, 2010) – Summit Charitable Events Foundation is pleased to announce the third annual Hudson Wine Festival, a benefit for Pawsibilities®, The Humane Society of Greater Akron.
Scheduled to take place on July 17 and 18, 2010 in the First & Main Shopping District, the event will showcase over 250 wines from local, national and international producers. Guests will enjoy musical entertainment, delectable foods, wine education seminars, artists and retail vendors along with various raffles throughout the weekend.
“We are excited to once again partner with Summit Charitable Events Foundation and First & Main in our continued efforts to rescue and find homes for abandoned, neglected and injured animals in our area.” said Christine Shock, Director of Community Relations, Pawsibilities®, The Humane Society of Greater Akron.
The Hudson Wine Festival will take place Saturday, July 17 from 1 – 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 18 from 1 –6 p.m. along Village Way in the beautiful First & Main shopping district. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door and include 10 tastings and a souvenir wine glass. Additional tastings are 10 for $5 at the event.
In addition, a special VIP event will be held Friday, July 16 where guests will be treated to mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres, along with premium wine tastings, entertainment and a silent auction among other activities. VIP admission includes an all access weekend pass to the festival as well. Pre-sale VIP tickets are available for $75 prior to June 1, 2010 and increase to $100 after June 1, 2010.
